One of the things I like about solo travel is you can do whatever, whenever and wherever you want without planning or agreeing with anyone. And this usually leads to finding the hidden gem.
I took a taxi from the hostel I stay to Han market which is located in the city. To be honest, the market disappoints me. I was hoping to find some goodies like a cool bag in Vietnamese style, local toys or vintage accessories. However, this market doesn’t have anything I want to look for. There are mostly dried food on the ground floor and clothes and fabric on the second floor. I left there after 10 minutes of visit and hunted for food.
Han river was right next to the mall where I ate and the sun was about to set, so I decided to take a stroll. I just wanted to walk along the river and take some photos of the Dragon bridge then hop on a taxi back to hostel. But it was such a lovely day to spend more time outside and enjoy the city. I ended up wandering the city and walked back to hostel.
